CoventryCares of Kentucky, a Medicaid product of Coventry Health and Life Insurance Co., is a new MCO for Kentucky’s Medicaid managed care program in Regions 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 beginning November 1, 2011.

CoventryCares of Kentucky offers innovative programs for Medicaid members that:

  • Improve care coordination
  • Educate about health conditions and illness prevention
  • Promote wellness and healthy lifestyles
  • Reduce inappropriate use of services
  • Involve organizations in the community who support our members
Coventry’s local Medicaid team includes nurses, medical directors, a social worker, community development, network development, provider relations and operations staff.
